Pre-sessional Seminar on Hong Kong During COVID-19
On 27th June, 2021 Department of Economics organised a pre-sessional seminar on “Hong Kong during COVID-19” for the second- and third-year Economics students via Webex. Tsang Po Yuen, a young entrepreneur living in Hong Kong gave a presentation on the insight of Hong Kong such as history and the influence of the British empire, architecture and interesting places from local’s perspective, food and culture, protests, and the impact of COVID-19 on Hong Kong’s economy and lifestyle. This pre-sessional seminar is part of the preparation and pre-test for English for Economists 1 and 3 for the upcoming semester.
