Celebration of 53rd Anniversary of Thaksin University

On 1st October, 2021 Department of Economics celebrated 53rd anniversary of Thaksin University via Webex. The morning session included TSU and Economics quiz competition and a roundtable session sharing studying and working experience from two alumni, Ajarn Niparta Naktreepong from Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajbhat University and Mr Aektanik Prathumsaenghiran from Office of the National and Social Development Council. There were two public lectures for the afternoon session. Dr Tigist D. Grieve from the University of Bristol gave a talk on “Seeing the Social: Educational Inspirations in Ethiopia”. Dr Arif Naveed lectured on “Does Education Reduce Poverty? Evidence from South Asia.
