International Seminar on “The UK Vaccination Programme: Role of Pharmacy and Socioeconomic Effects”
On 29th September, 2021 Department of Economics organised an international seminar on “The UK Vaccination Programme: Role of Pharmacy and Socioeconomic Effects” for Economics students via Webex. Dr. Peter Sunderland presented an overview of the vaccination programme in the UK, different types of vaccine technology and the effectiveness of each vaccine, and the socioeconomic impacts of COVID-19. This seminar is part of the listening and speaking skill practices in English for Economists 1 and 3 and for selective modules of third- and fourth-year Economics students (World Economy, Tourism and Sports Economics).
